The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences growing in influence within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of characters who will split off from the central cast to begin their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem unsuited, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

First, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the story’s plot—used the enemy for his personal gain, entering the secret base, striking the character, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the group reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The character are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them little choice but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Seekers and Planners groups.

Fans can anticipate discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on October 24.
